Nelson sat out a stretch of 12 plays before coming back for the final two, including a 2-yard touchdown catch.

Coach Mike McCarthy declined comment on Nelson after the Packers conducted a shortened practice in the Hutson Center.

Neither the Packers nor the Vikings, their opponent in an NFC wild-card playoff game Saturday night at Lambeau Field, have to file an injury report until Wednesday.

"We're blessed with a lot of guys who can get down the field and have different types of talents and abilities that you can utilize in the passing game.

" Jermichael ( Finley) has played really well the last few weeks and made some big-time plays for us in the game. It would be nice to get both Randall and Greg ( Jennings) both back in the slot.
