New England, which will open camp a full four days ahead of any other team, has changed in a significant way since beating Philadelphia in the last Super Bowl. Both coordinators left the team for head-coaching jobs, and coach Bill Belichick chose not to replace offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, now the Notre Dame coach. Exactly - in fact - it's specifically what Holmgren did with Favre (who's copying whom now?) - ..probably because he "had" to... but, in truth it worked out real well and kept the Offense on the same page all game long... Not to mention, with Shurnur at the helm on D, then he could see how htings were shaping up with limited conversation to Holmgren throughout....
