Why the Scorigamis? No bonus points that can noticed in the rules, so our beloved game organizer is practically wasting 2 picks this week. And where do you find those unused scores to use? Oh now I know (thanks Google) there is a website initiated by a Jon Bois. Apparently the week 14 trouncing of KC 48 Raiders 9 was the last NFL scoragami.

Dallas' 51-26 win was a scorigami game...I didn't predict it, though.

Has this method paid off at all this season for anyone?

To finally answer your question from Week 16, yes. I believe that this is my third score hit this season (or fourth??). Below is the website that I read at the start of the season. I started by hitting on two 20-17 scores. After seeing the high scoring games in general, I started to think that 27-24 was a more likely score in modern games. This week was the first time that I hit on a 27-24 score.

It was also much less brain stress to just put the same score after each game AND have a higher likelihood of winning.

What are the most common scores in the NFL?​

The most common score in NFL history is 20-17, which has happened a total of 269 times. The first occurrence of that result came in 1944, whereas the most recent came in Week 14 of the 2020 season.

A 20-17 score occurred three times in the 2020 season and has happened an average of three times per season over the last three years. Yet, in 2017, a total of eight games finished with this score.

The next most common score in NFL history is 27-24, which has happened 217 times. The Buffalo Bills defeating the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card round of the 2020 NFL season is the most recent occurrence. Last season, a scoreline of 27-24 occurred a total of six times. In the last three years, there has been an average of over five games a year that have finished 27-24. This scoreline first occurred in 1939 between the Cleveland Rams and the Packers.

The third most common score in the NFL is 17-14. That scoreline has occurred on 196 occasions, with the first coming in 1933 and the most recent on December 27, 2020. Somewhat surprisingly, a 17-14 score has happened just once in the last three seasons.

Great reference and one of my favorite shows....at least back in the 80s. If I remember, it was the Dukes of Hazzard, followed by the A-Team, followed by the Incredible Hulk on Friday Nights on channel 18 in Milwaukee.
