NFL schedule coming Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Green Bay - For all of you waiting to book flights and hotels for the upcoming Packers season, clear out Tuesday afternoon on your schedule: the 2008 NFL schedule will be released at 1 p.m. Tuesday on the NFL Network.

We'll bring you the Packers' slate of games here as soon as it hits.

Of course, we already know who the Packers will play. Outside of the opening game on Monday Night against the Minnesota Vikings (7 p.m., Sept. 8), we're just waiting for the dates and possible national television appearances.

Outside of the Monday Nighter with the Vikings, I'd say we only get one or two other night games. I hope I'm wrong but I see with Favre retiring, the networks don't give as much love to the Packers as they did last season.

And I'm absolutely wrong again! But at least for the better.
