Here we are again, just six days short of another NFL season which starts on Wednesday night (that's different) featuring a rematch of Super Bowl LX with the runner up Patriots visiting defending champion Seattle.
This opens up an opportunity for fans in the Packer Forum to demonstrate how well they can pick the winners and game scores for the 272 games of the NFL regular season. Like the NFL season it's a weekly grind full of unpredictable twists and turns. But do your best to predict it.
Last season went right down to the final play of the regular season to decide a winner when Voyageur edged out Amish Mafia to win the season title. Following that, Pokerbrat won the post season predictions contest.
The Rules
Guess the score of each team for each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonusl
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
If you pick a game score in which you pick the winner and the correct margin of victory, you will get 25 bonus points. We'll call this a spread bingo or a mini bingo.
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game. (You will not receive the 25 spread bonus with a Bingo) This is known as a score Bingo.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points (Lotsa luck with that one.)
At the end of the regular season the player, or players with the most correct picks over the regular season will receive 180 bonus points, or a split of that amount. In the event of a points tie the win is awarded to the player with the most correct picks.
