We are now heading into the second half of the season. No Packers game to distract our pickers this weekend.

All are welcome to play, and good luck to all!

Guess the score of each team of each game...
Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week earns a 20 points bonus
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games earns a 40 point bonus (plus the previous 20 points).
If you get all but one of the games correct nets 100 bonus points (plus the 20 & 40 from above)
Guess right on all the games and enjoy an additional 150 points (plus the previous 20, 40 & 100)
And ..... If you guess the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct game.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points.

Albert needs Ravens to kick a FG to Bingo. I’d miss it by exactly 1 pt

Great Game! 35-34 Ravens
Crazy, wild, divisional game on a Thursday that we kind of expected. Those of us that picked Baltimore lucked out tonight. It could be indicative of this weekend.

I was watching it, and coming down to the 2 minutes warning I was praying to the footballing Gods that they'd wind the clock down and kick an FG.
I know it!
At one point with several minutes left I was still in, it was 21-28 Ravens. My 27-31 guess was in play. The moment The Bengals scored that quick TD and made an XPM 28-28..I and several other were eliminated and you were the remaining survivor. At 5:50 seconds the game went into high gear. 20 points were scored in the last 5:37 seconds.
Lot of scoring blew our predictions, but it sure was fun to watch.

When we watch Lamar? he just runs around guys like they are standing still. Many don’t know that Malik Willis tied Lamar Jackson in college for most missed tackles since 2015. I believe it was 95 misses? This is why I wanted Malik playing in that rain. I think he would’ve run circles around Detroit in driving rain.
What a night for Chase ! That guy makes it look easy.

Excellent point on why Willis may have been the best choice against Detroit. It would also had us in a position where coming off the bye we'd see a pretty well healed Love.

And he have been able to keep a few drives going especially across midfield.
Looking back in this game. We fumbled the snap from Shotgun 3 times and it resulted in a missed FG and Turnover on Downs both deep in Detroit territory. Those 3 fumbles going for positive gains just staying under Center and handing the ball off to Jacobs could’ve made a difference on two separate Drives that stalled deep in Detroit territory

I know Willis wouldn’t erase the 10 flags. I know he’s not going to erase all the drops. However he could’ve turned a drop or two into a +6 yard scamper by just tucking it and running. He’d also highly likely negate the Pick 6. Not declaring he’d Win, just saying he’d give us a similar chance or possibly better in those conditions.

IMO Love would’ve been better suited in a non rain game by a hair. In that slop fest I’d feel very good about Malik being able to drive our ground game. He’s deceptively quick on his feet. Maybe a smidge behind Lamar but not much.

So many moving parts in this like you say. Myers out, and Jenkins in at center. Snaps going low left. As pointed out by Brady, Love stands back there with left leg forward. It makes it very difficult to corral a low snap to the left, sometimes impossible. The leg is in the way of the hands. Like he rightfully said, Love should be taught to have his feet across from each other, not in a position with left leg forward. Adding to the Jenkins situation, the fact that Love's left leg is where his problem is, making it even more difficult for him to get down to that location to catch snaps. In addition to those that went bad, how many of them required extra time to corral, or left the ball in an awkward position, forcing Love to concentrate more on that than what he had to see on the field in front of him? Little things, but combined, could cause some problems in the passing game and running game. Slower hand off to RBs, and slower reaction into pass. Might that be a reason Love was humming some of them at close range, because he was late getting on his read? Could be.

Those false starts. They'll eat a coach up. There's no excuse for it, and they drill so it doesn't happen, and it still does. The thing that coaches are constantly aware of is that if you push on a player too much because of it, he won't get quick jumps on plays. He'll hesitate, and in a lot of cases, end up beaten off his block, because he's behind the actions of the defenders across from him. As it is, QBs will some times be total tyrants in the huddle after it happens. The linemen hear a lot about it there, and again, on the sideline.

I agree with everyone who says Love should have sat this one out. It wasn't a wise decision having him out there. There's an extremely good chance that his newest injury was the result of protecting himself from the pain related to the previous injury. We don't need him on the shelf for a long period of time. It would have been great having that extra week off for him to heal. Three weeks could have made a big difference.

I also agree that Willis offers a bigger run threat by far. Love can't run, unless his life depends on it. If the rush would have been the same against Willis, I think he would have scampered for some decent gains on covered passes. He's different than Love in his reactions back there, and that can be a good thing.

Malik does that instinctively. And opponents cannot plan for it all the time. Just when Jacksonville was thinking run Willis hits Reed for that big one to set up the win. If you have talent in other parts of the offense it makes him that much better.
