As one proof of how SOS affects a team, in the AFC the team with the easiest schedule has had a Winning record in 7 consecutive seasons. The last 2 seasons the easiest schedule improved Win total by an average of +6 Wins each. Scheduling makes a difference.</p><p></p><p>I say this every year.
