yeah head-head only applies to 2 teams. If there is more than 3, it goes to conference record.

Atlanta losses tonite. Putting them at 7 losses. Loser of the Eagles/Giants game will have 7 losses. We're not done. We just have to win tomorrow and go from there.

Just remember don't give up!!! Win out and the Pack have a 50/50 chance to make the playoffs!...I doubt they will win out or even make the playoffs, so I'm just going to enjoy the ride. Enjoy Favre and the Pack as we will only have them for a few more weeks then off season :(. Whether Favre is back in green and gold or not....enjoy him!!!

THIS IS MERELY A POSSIBLE SCENARIO FOR THE PACKERS TO GET INTO THE PLAYOFFS, THIS IS NOT WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN. THIS WAS DONE FOR FUN AND TO GIVE OTHERS SOMETHING TO BOO OR CHEER FOR WHILE WATCHING OTHER GAMES. :)

Currently the teams that matter for playoff contention.

  • Cowboys 9 - 5
    Giants 7 - 7
    Eagles 8 - 6

    Falcons 7 - 7
    Panthers 6 - 8

    Seahawks 8 - 6
    49ers 6 - 8
    Rams 6 - 8

Easiest way to get in, is this.

Week 16
  • Minnesota (6 - 8) at Green Bay (6 - 8) - Packers
    Carolina (6 - 8) at Atlanta (7 - 7) - Panthers
    New Orleans at N.Y. Giants (7 - 7) - Saints
    Washington at St. Louis (6 - 8) - Redskins
    Arizona at San Francisco (6 - 8) - Cardinals
    Philadelphia (8 - 6) at Dallas (9 - 5) - Cowboys

Week 17
  • N.Y. Giants (7 - 8) at Washington - Redskins
    Atlanta (7 - 8) at Philadelphia (8 - 7) - Falcons
    Carolina (7 - 8) at New Orleans - Saints
    Green Bay (7 - 8) at Chicago - Packers
    St. Louis (6 - 9) at Minnesota (6 - 9) - PUSH (Rams for hatred sake)
    San Francisco (6 - 9) at Denver - PUSH

Teams that matter for playoff contention at the end of the season would look something like this.

  • *Cowboys (11 - 5)
    Eagles (8 - 8)
    Giants (7 - 9)

    *Bears (12 - 4)
    Packers (8 - 8)
    Vikings (6 - 10)

    *Saints (11 - 5)
    Falcons (8 - 8)
    Panthers (7 - 9)

    *Seahawks (9 - 7)
    Rams (7 - 9)
    49ers (6 - 10)

That would mean division champ playoff spots go to
  • Bears
    Cowboys
    Saints
    Seahawks

The two wild card spots would be up for grabs between
  • Eagles
    Packers
    Falcons

Here are the rules for Tie Breakers.
TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM
If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

Two Clubs
1. Head-to-head, if applicable.
2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
4. Strength of victory.
5. Strength of schedule.
6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best net points in conference games.
9. Best net points in all games.
10. Best net touchdowns in all games.
11. Coin toss.

Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.
5. Strength of victory.
6. Strength of schedule.
7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
9. Best net points in conference games.
10. Best net points in all games.
11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
12. Coin toss

The Eagles DIVISION record would be 4 - 2
The Packers DIVISION record would be 5 - 1
The Falcons DIVISION record would be 3 - 3

The Eagles NFC record would be 7 - 5
The Packers NFC record would be 7 - 5
The Falcons NFC record would be 6 - 6

Which means Packers, Eagles IN, Falcons OUT.

Maybe not the 'easiest' way. But its a way non the less :)

I may have screwed up, my head hurts.
