While that is a valid reason I agree with AmishMafia: Neal's potential is worth the cost of a roster spot and the small amount of salary (by NFL standards) he's due. They already paid him a lot of money, paying a little more to see if he can get healthy is well worth the risk IMO.  BTW, I believe the NFLPA encourages every player who tests positive to appeal so I don't think his appeal has any special significance. </blockquote>
