    My wife's operation

Cheesy I didnt know that your wife was having surgery, if it was posted here I am so sorry I missed it.

I am so glad that she is okay and that the surgery went well. Give her my best, and I hope she has a speedy recovery.

I have visuals of you in a nurses uniform and wearing those old hats they used to wear how funny is that? She is so blessed to have a man like you that would do anything for her. She is also an angel for everything she has had to deal with in her life as well.

Our family sends their prayers your way, and if you need anything please let me know. YOu have always been there for me.

Give your wife a hug from me.

    Thank you Vikefan!!!
She's a little better today........but she HATES being bed ridden. She's used to working 12 hours a day, so this is especially hard on her.

    Re: My wife's operation

Yup....it started just before noon today. We are supposed to get 4-6 inches, then it's supposed to change to freezing rain.
Then, over night, it's supposed to get up to 40 degrees and straight rain. CRAZY weather here.

Last night when I had my tin foil hat on, I got a buzz that the Mother Ship was landing near Grafton Wisconsin.
Something about looking for a Cheesey Nurse.

    Re: My wife's operation

I heard this from an old Irish woman. She said the cure for kidney stones - sit in a hot bath drunk off your a** and just let it pass (I hope I don't have to go into more detail than that). She claims she passed a few this way.

    Re: My wife's operation

LOL! That was one of my FAVORITE shows when i was a kid! I even have a card signed by "Dr. Smith" (Jonathan Harris) that i got on ebay just before he passed away. It's embossed by the company that put out a "Lost in Space" card set that year. I paid $12 for it. Now that he died, i have seen the same card going for over $100. Glad i got it when i did!
(Glad i'm in good company........when the aliens come, they will have drastic differences to compare. Me, the intellegent Packer fan, and......well.....Vikesrule!!!LOLOL!!!) J/K Vikes!!!

    Re: My wife's operation

I took my wife to the doctor Tuesday. He unrapped her leg to check out for infections or anything. Man.......I wasn't expecting what i saw. There were SO many incisions. I was expecting maybe 2 or 3. It was litterally all over on her calf, from just above the ankle to just behind her knee. Held together by staples. I helped him rewrap it, and i have to take her back next week to see if he can take the staples and stiches out. It was really gross.
He says she will be out total probably a month. But he's really a nice doctor. He said he will do anything we need to fight the insurance company, as he knows the damage was caused by her fall.
Now we have to wait for his office to fill out the short term disability forms, so she will at least have some money coming in. The nurse was supposed to work on that yesterday or today.
Thank you all again for you prayers and well wishes!!! They are GREATLY appreciated!!! By me, AND my wife!!!
I had her sit yeasterday and see how the people here have wished her well, and she REALLY appreciated it! :D

    Re: My wife's operation

:pop: this is the wife of the better half, mister personality himself cheesey. not to sure how to thank all of your for supporting us during a difficult spot in our lives. My goal was to work real hard with the over time this past year and pay medical bills. little did i know that i would land up on my back.... even though my idea is usually to cover for employees during the holidays because they usually need time off with there families. I usually rank high in seniority :-? so overtime is really a blessing in disquise. But this year cheesey had a real surprise, when the specialist gave me a choice in two days what to do..... so as loyalty claims a good character of cheesey, he left before visiting hours and was home to take care of seth-angel (our puppy) and in time for kick off. I did try the whining card before he left,,, :( didnt work .. we didnt know that it would be an overnight til the doctor was able to observe the details of the surgery. :?:
so thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers and words of encouragement for cheesey. and me..
    mrs, cheesey :D
