Brett favre does not enter into my judgement of Thompson.
Ted will have to prove himself with or without Brett.
This year (with Brett) will be a defining year for Ted but I don't think Ted will be gone even if there is a complete collapse.
I think Ted will step up and improve our offense with a block buster move, however if he doesn't and our beloved Packers fail to improve on last years record the fans will call loud and long for Ted's head.
But he will get at least one more year with or without Brett

Lare excellent post!!!

You said that Ted should be held accountable..I agree, but that is up to the Packer board and or Jones..

As far as prove that they are better...

Just look at the D line and the CB situation, I think you could say that area is better, along with the LB core

Thats the point of Lare's post. You can point to whatever you want but the win/loss record is the final barometer.

Lare, you nailed it.

God this hate thing gets boring.

Accusing anyone who dares to question Ted Thompson of hating is equal to accusing the poster who started this thread and all who agree with him of hating Favre.

It makes for great spin and distorted talking points, but does nothing to address the very real concerns and issues people have with the state of the Packers organization.

Bigger than the franchise???

You're right, Favre is not bigger than the franchise, neither is Ted Thompson.
