He was our third down back for most of the season.

Whenever we ran the no huddle it was Morency in the backfield, not Ryan Grant.

He knows our offense, and some competition for Jackson, Wynn, and Herron is a good thing.

Plus.......just because he's signed doesn't mean he will be on the opening day roster.
I expected more from Morency then he has shown so far. Maybe they want to give him one more shot to show if he has "it".

Yeah, that $927,000 is really going to bite into our available cap space.

LOL

Double LOL

But yeah, this is a good one, although this is a bad sign for DeShawn Wynn.

Grant\Jackson\Wynn\Morency is still what I'd like to see next year.

He has "it" Cheesey, and it's called tns (tiny nut syndrome). I was looking forward to not having Morency on the roster this year. Hopefully Wynn got off his *** this offseason and got in shape. Brandon can take over 3rd down duties.

I don't even wanna know how you know that DakotaT... :p

I like the move, creating competition has been very beneficial for the Packers. In case Wynn hasn't gotten his act together in the weight room this off-season, and if one of the other RBs (Grant, B-Jack, Herron) go down we'll have insurance.

As someone above said, a little under 1 million for a RB that has the talent to start is very fair.

Weird.

I was wondering only a few weeks ago whether or not he'll even be on the team.

Again, it doesn't mean he has won a roster spot. He's going to have to prove he should be on the team. He's gonna have his work cut out for him. But having that many RB's trying to earn a spot is good. There won't be any lazy guys, if they want that coveted roster spot (and hefty pay check.)
