You said “just” but that all happened hours ago….you do realize that right
I was wondering the same thing.... "evening drills"?
Actually, I guess I'm
still wondering.
Hardman caught a 70+ yarder from Love for a score in 11v11 but hilariously MLF said he doesn’t think live Love has time in pocket for the throw. Video is making rounds.
Who did he burn in the secondary? Not to sound negative, but I hope this isn't a good new/bad news thing.
I can't find that video; if anyone knows a link, I'd be grateful. There's one 34-second video that I keep seeing, but all it shows is him making the catch and running. And it's a great catch, but I'd like to see the whole play. (Good news about Van Ness, too, sounds like.)
I also heard the Donovan Jennings and Jacob Monk both look as though they've come a long way since their rookie year, and look ready to play. I hope that's true.
Golden was making plays in practice the other day but what I heard was impressive wasn’t the volume of yards but the efficiency he created with his body control what I’d label as torque. He was extremely efficient at using the sideline to control the clock in timed drills.
I still can't believe we got him at #23. This was a good time to take a WR in the 1st. I'm no expert, but I honestly thought he was the best receiver in the draft.
And you're right - it really does sound like a lot of things are coming together at the right time. That terrific draft class from 23 is entering their 3rd season and should be expected to make big strides (the 3rd season is statistically the year most players make their biggest leap), last year's are vets now.... really an exciting time.
Im telling you guys we’re going to throttle some teams unexpectedly this year. This Offense is stacked
I know this is going to sound negative, but I'm already dreading the cuts that I know are coming. What have we got; 8 of 'em? Not even counting Watson or Melton? I have a bad feeling we're going to cut someone who'll immediately become a #3 on some other team, get a lot of snaps, and quickly blossom into a very good WR.
That's the trouble with having so many of them; you have your top 3 - maybe 4 - guys who get almost all of the snaps, and the rest of them just never get a chance to develop.
