I think it's hilarious that McCarthy blames injuries to reduced practice time as he's most likely the head coach in the league resting the most starters during preseason.

I agree there is a bit of irony there, but I would assume he trusts his own players in practice to be a little easier on fellow teammates than an opposing teams players. Yeah I know players get hurt in practice all the time i.e both of our starting cornerbacks who are not on injured reserve lol.
