The Packers dropped 43 passes, 18 more than a year ago and their highest total since 2002.

Green had the poorest receiving season of his career with eight drops out of 63 targeted passes, giving him a team-worst drop rate of 12.7%. He dropped 24 passes from 2000-'02 but only six from 2003-'05.

The best drop rate was turned in by Noah Herron, who dropped one of 35 (2.9%). He was followed by Driver, six of 170 (career-low 3.5%); Greg Jennings, five of 103 (4.9%); Ruvell Martin, three of 43 (7%); David Martin, three in 35 (8.6%); Franks, six of 53 (11.3%); and Lee, five of 22 (22.7%).

Henderson, who hadn't dropped a pass since the 2003 playoffs, dropped two of 17 (11.8%). Morency dropped one of 17 (5.9%).

Of Favre's 18 touchdown passes, only two went to tight ends and none after Week 7. He didn't have a TD pass in five games. In the final eight games his seven TD passes included substantial throws of 82, 48, 20, 36 and 68 yards. All but a 36-yarder to Ruvell Martin went to Driver.

Favre's total of 18 interceptions, down from 29 in 2005, broke down like this: His average release time of 3.05 seconds was the highest since 2001; his picks set up 41 points, exactly half of the '05 total (82); nine came out of the shotgun, one on a one-step drop, three on a three-step drop, four on a five-step drop and one on a bootleg; a total of 14 were judged to be his fault, with Jennings next in responsibility with 1 1/2; a total of 11 came with the Packers behind and one came with the score tied; nine occurred in enemy territory, including four in the red zone; a total of 11 came with at least three receivers split wide; just two came against blitzes; and a total of 13 came in the second half.

The reason Favre isn't getting 30+ TDs is because they aren't scoring in the red zone with the pass like they used to. I blame the TEs.

Btw...I think all 6 of Frank's drops were in the Minnesota game.

When the TE's drop as many (14) passes having just over 100 attempts and the other guys drop 14 with over 350 attempts it says something about the TE's season overall.

Add this to the fact they are not asked to catch some of the passes those other guys see. Most the time they are one on one with LB vs. a WR getting doubled and smacked around once the ball arrives.
