I briefly thought that reference was too old, but there are some pretty ancient posters here lol.
But I was thinking something more along these lines:

Fortunately, he won't land in the North. Well, unless the queens give up on JJM, and that's not likely for next season.

Unfortunately I can't agree about him not landing in the NFC North. The Vikings are in a bind. Whether they want to stick with him or not, they need another starting-caliber QB such as Willis, Daniel Jones, etc. McCarthy has two seasons of injury history and no definite sign that he can progress into a legit starter.

The Vikings unequivocally need to bring in a legitimate starter to compete for the job. Even if they stick with McCarthy, they will need QB2 to play.

Willis wants to know he can get a shot at the starting job. And the team that puts the $$ there will get him. Anyone offering him more than one year would have to do the same.
