Someone with poor character will get affected whether they have money or not. The packers have been successful in drafting high character players. I think Finley has some issues but I also think that it's ok. I like a team with a few polarizing figures. The point is this, we do not know how Finley will play after he gets paid, we do know how he has played in the past and that has been very good.
