Lee Remmel has had experience and interaction with all the Packers coaches in history. Here is how he described the coaches, one by one:

Q: You've worked with every head coach in team history. How would you describe each, in a word or two? Curly Lambeau.

A: Flamboyant.

Q: Gene Ronzani.

A: Sincere.

Q: Lisle Blackbourn

A: Hard-nosed. We'd be waiting outside the locker room after a game, when Blackbourn would say 'Let the vultures in.'"

Q: Ray (Scooter) McLean

A: Fine guy

Q: Vince Lombardi

A: Martinet

Q: Phil Bengtson

A: Gentleman

Q: Dan Devine

A: Better than his record.

Q: Bart Starr

A: Unrewarded

Q: Forrest Gregg

A: A surprise

Q: Lindy Infante

A: Master of the one-liner. He had the best coach's show I've ever seen.

Q: Mike Holmgren

A: Supremely confident

Q: Ray Rhodes

A: Miscast

Q: Mike Sherman

A: Overachiever

Q: Mike McCarthy

A: Great potential

Great to hear about McCarthy having great potential. The Sherman thing outright surprised me.

A photo with Lee Remmel.

I would like to have about a week just asking him questions.
Even a conversation over some happy hour beers.

A lot of information and history will be lost when he departs this world.

I know...........i would have LOVED to pick his brain, but his wife had just pulled up to pick him up, so all i had time for was a photo.
I was lucky to get THAT much!
