PACKERS ROOKIE NOMINATED MENTOR FOR NFL AWARD
As a high school kid changing schools midway through his football career, T.J. Lang wasn't sure exactly what his future held in the sport.
But Lang said his new coach at the time, Albert Fracassa, at Brother Rice High School near Birmingham, Mich., sensed his potential right away and helped him maximize on it, eventually leading to a college scholarship at Central Michigan and a spot on the Green Bay Packers' roster as a fourth-round draft pick.
"He kind of knew that I had a type of future playing college ball," Lang said. "He's just been around the game for so long. He was always telling me the right things to do.
"He's one of those guys when he talks you really listen to him because he knows what he's talking about. He has this feeling to him that you know what he's saying is going to help you out. He taught me a lot about growing up, about dedication and hard work and stuff like that. T..
