I'm going to the October 8 game against the Rams and was wondering if you can actually have tickets too close to the field to see well.

My tickets are in the first row on about the 10-15 yard line, Packers side.

Does anyone have any insight on that?

It's going to be awesome regardless but I was just wondering.

Yeah, but will I be able to see the game well or is the first row too low? I guess that's what I'm asking...

Like I said, it's gonna be awesome man!

Oh, and by the way, as far as the $$$, they cost me just under $300 a ticket and I needed 5 so yeah, the wallet was pretty light after that.

I thought so too but then wondered if it would have been better a few rows up to see the game. I would think the action in that endzone is going to be awesome though!

I suppose I could carry a sign that says, "VOTE TROMADZ PACKERFORUM.COM MODERATOR OF THE YEAR!"

tee hee!! seriously though, you picked the exact seating area i plan on looking for when i go to a game this year. packers side is the best - especially for late afternoon games - the sun doesn't shine in your eyes. you will not BELIEVE how close you're gonna be to the players!! take your camera for sure, a sharpie, & something that you'd like to be autographed. none of the current packers will sign anything but there usually are a few former packers on the sidelines & if you catch 'em before the game starts, they'll probably sign something for ya.

Packinsteel, i like you and respect your choice of being a dual-fan. but i have to tell you, everytime i see a post by you, i can't help but think that 'Packinsteel' would be such a good pornstar name.

Note: I don't believe that NDPackerFan has the same bust line as you for the players to sign. I would leave the sharpie at home.

There is no such thing as a "bad seat" in Lambeau. You can see from every seat.

I have similar seats for the Pack/Bills game at Ralph Wilson (1st Row, 10-15 yard line). The biggest difference between the two stadiums is that Lambeau is so much closer to the action (having been built by the old stadium rules). As many people have said before, there is no such thing as a bad seat at Lambeau.

Coincidentally, I will be at the Rams game as well. My seats are mid-field in the first section between the 20 and 30 yard line.

GO PACK!!!

do you guys sell body parts to pay for this?!

Seeing the Pack play at Lambeau has become a big part of my annual vacation. I can usually get a hotel room and a mid-field seat for around $450 - $500 CDN. I also hunt, so I spend the rest of my time off in the woods hunting deer and grouse, or on the lake hunting ducks.

The Pack are playing the Bills the day before my birthday. Since Buffalo is only 2 hours from Toronto, I jumped at the chance to go. First row at the 10-15 yard line was going for $125 USD apiece.

If you want to talk expensive football tickets, look into what it costs to go see Notre Dame. It makes Green Bay look cheap by comparison.

You will find it hard to see the play when the action is on the opposite end of the field from you. You will have the best seats in the house when the action is in front of you.

There are pros and cons no matter where you sit. The so-called best seats, on the 50 yard line and so-many rows up, may be "on average" good seats but they will never be close to the action or at an angle that is optimal.

Anubis, Notre Dame tickets are easy to get at good prices if you know where to find the scalpers a day before or on the day of the game.

ND, my seats are on the 11yd line 14 rows back. As someone had said, harder to see when they are on the other goal line. Other than that, not bad. With the field bowing (sidelines lower than middle of field for drainage) you should be able to see most of it. However, as they sweep toward you they will dissapear behind the guys on the sidelines. But that is MORE than made up for by the sounds and sights you will experience that close. You will have a GREAT time and the $$ will be well spent.

Anubis....I get ND tickets to two games a year since my daughter is a student but sometimes I want different games so yea you pay a ton from ticket brokers. As vegomatic says if you wait til gameday or the day before there are always scalpers selling tickets for a cheaper price. The problem with this is that I live 11 hours away and I feel better having them in hand before I leave the house. I may try it in September though. I am going out for the Michigan game. If you really want sticker shock try to get a decent hotel room within 10 miles of the campus during football weekends.
