When were the wooden bleachers at Lambeau Field replaced with aluminum bleachers? In the Ice Bowl, it appears that fans are sitting on wooden bleachers - but, according to the official Packers website, the wooden bleachers were replaced with aluminum in 1958. Some from Green Bay remember the wooden bleachers being removed in the late 1960's....with the wooden bleachers given away to anyone who would take them. Wooden bleachers replaced with aluminum in 1958 or later? Any help appreciated.

Completely off-topic, but is your name actually Travis Williams or is your monicker in honor of the legendary Packer? I loved watching him return kickoffs.

It is in honor of #23 Travis Williams. Great player. Still holds NFL single season kick-off return yardage record: 41.1yards per kick-off return. Later in life - Tragic loss.
