From his BLOG:
I have been working out with a new strength coach. He is making me bigger and faster, and I am working harder than ever. I will be prepared mentally and physically when preseason rolls around. Leadership is important to your success. We have a new coaching staff truly committed to winning. They have us doing a lot of new things, switching it up. The off-season work out has been awesome. There were more people working out in Green Bay more than any other time. The Packers bunch has a lot of chemistry. We have formed a lot of friendships. We have Brett Favre back again and some great looking new guys for the offense, so we are gearing up for a great season.

Last season, my numbers weren’t where I wanted to be, even though I posted my career high in tackles. I had no double digit stats. It was a tough season, and we never had the other team on the ropes, but gave it everything I got. I can say that I am proud of myself because I think that when I fell down I got right back up. Coach Sherman said to the team that we have to win the race mentality before coming in first literally. You can prepare the horse for battle, but victory begins with the Lord- any outcome I trust in God’s hands. I will just leave my very best on the field every chance I’ve got.

The team DOES seem to have a real drive so far, don't they? I LOVE seeing that! Hopefully it will still be there when they take the field.

Shouldn't a DE making $36M already be a ripped head hunter. I don't mean to **** on the parade here, but articles like this anger me. Now if they want to do an article on Mike Montgomery saying stuff like this, I would be ecstatic.

Tromadz, start one of your threads for most disappointing Packer, and put me down for KGB.

YA know this team really seems to have it together mentally. We seem (as kgb said to be forming chemistry) the more and more I hear the more I think TT is doing this thing the right way. For a championship.

Yah I agree. So far it looks like TT is doing what it takes to get the Packers back to the Super Bowl, but i just wished Brett could win one more....but getting the Packers better for future championships is def more important.

* And by the way, is there anyway to edit my User Name ??? b/c when I registered I didnt know there was already a gopackgo4 (which is obviosly similar to mine ). So if I cant, I didnt mean to step on your toes, and I would prefer having a different name then someone else anyways.

Hear this every year. I will say he was slightly better against the run last year. Frankly I rather see the team use him only in passing situations and find someone to replace him as the regular guy.

that would be the way to go, but i'm not sure the management would bite the bullet after paying him so much. he is a disappointment, and i hope he plays like a $36 million dollar man this year, that would make me happy. PS. i think the turnaround on Ted Thompson's approval rating is hillarious! from about 1 week prior to brett announcing his return until now, complete 180.

Same thing for Brett's. His approval rating has done a 180 since he announced he's returning.
