Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mondio" data-source="post: 786657" data-attributes="member: 10441">I'm going to give McCray more time.  He was a highlight last year, even if unspectacular.  He wasn't great, he just went out at practically every position on that line and did a decent job.  He's not going to make the probowl, it's ok.  But he had an entire season where his level of play was just fine for this league.  He had a bad half and a better half in the 1st game of the season.  Judge him on 1st half bears and disregard last season and 2nd half Bears?  I think as they play together it gets better.  They had some problems up front, on one play, may have been the rodgers injury, Linsley and McCray were at the LOS with nothing to do while 2-3 guys blew past them and almost knocked out our QB.  Obviously both are better than that and have proven it over time.  I have faith they'll both get it together.  and Yes, Evans level of play was declining last year.  I don't think he has more than 5-7 weeks at most on his body before he'd start breaking down again.  That's if he has anything left to give.  He was a warrior, but he was fading last year.  He's a guy I'd sign in November if we needed some help, give him a week or 2 of practice then put him out there for his last hurrah if we needed him.  He wouldn't last to the money games if he started playing now though.</blockquote>
