As far as making it, there is a company (McFarlane) that make very detailed 6" sports figures. Some figures, I will just take and completely repaint into another player. In this case, I took parts from about 15 different players and pinned them into the basic pose. Then I did some sculpting to make it look more seamless. Then I paint and decal it from head to toe.Think of a doing a model car. This is like taking 15 model car kits and using parts from each to come up with an original car and then painting it.Here is an early picture after I had decided on the parts but before sculpting.
