The Surgeon General gave information in regard to the effects of tobacco in 1963, pretty much what was already suspected. Monsanto lobbies as hard as those opposing it.The equation may not be weighed in a courtroom. Those that oppose the glyco believe it saves millions of lives. Those that do not also understand the impact it would have on world food production. And any modern organic integrated form of agriculture could not meet the volume demand in this world no matter how hard they try to sell it. Maybe 150 years ago. The cost for the farmer, the shipper, the supplier, and the consumer would sky rocket. Shortages would be rampant. Simply, removing all herbicides and pesticides from the process are not as easy as switching to decaf coffee like some believe.I have used Roundup for over 40 years, e.g. I am still here. Misuse of a product can lead to disaster, especially at high volume. As far as political, those companies lobby both parties, and give money to both as well.</blockquote>
