With all of the discussion regarding Hillman whose value would be as a change-of-pace back, which is an evident need, it might be worth considering less expensive options, such as Josh Ferguson, a guy nfldraftscout.com projects for the 5th. round.

How quick, elusive and instinctual is this guy? There's a big "wow" factor in this tape. And he has some long speed at sub-4.5.

He gets a 5th. round projection because he's small (5'9", 198 lbs.) and doesn't project as a starting back. He's not the kind of guy who will pound it between the tackles. But that's not what we're talking about here...we're looking for a change of pace back, and he hits the marks...pitches, sweeps, draws, screens, motion wide or out of the slot. When this guy has some space, he's very dangerous.

And now there's the rumor about Harvin. How about a little Hillman and a little Harvin wrapped up in this guy?
