Jeff Samardzija - worth a late round pick?

What is the boards opinion, would you throw a late round pick at Jeff Samardzija in case his baseball career flops?

I doubt Ted will do it, but we have 3 7th round picks, so I wouldn't be mad if we acquired his rights.

Jeff has a good fastball and curve, he'll make some tall cash pitching in MLB, so I don't think he'll ever play pro football

Henson was an absolutely can't miss baseball prospect as well. With 3 7th rounders, I'd take a flier on him with the last one if someone else doesn't do it first.
