he's a raider instead. No offense RP, but this is one way to make sure he ends his career under the radar and with marginal stats. Oh well, he got about 15 mil in guaranteed $$$ so more power to him I guess

Javon a Raider

Wow that much money for Javon Walker. Guess he hit his big pay day twice now.

Truth be told a Jamarcus Russell, Darren McFadden, and Javon Walker trio might not look that bad. Depends on Russell.

Wow.

There was a reason why the Broncos didn't want to pay him $5 million next season.

Leave it to the Raiders to give him $9 million next season.

Can't blame Javon for taking that money, hopefully it will make all that losing in Oakland a lot easier.

The Raiders must be obsessed with getting Russell some help for his first year as a starter, because they overpaid here.

Russell could do with a more mature WR to throw to, somebody like Joe Jurevicious im thinking, or perhaps a Donald Driver or somebody like that.

i like the signing for Oakland..but who in god's name approved that contract? does Rosenhaus have the hard reel of Al Davis' legendary 1932 snuff film?

couple this with the overpaying of gibril wilson and im thinking that front office needs Andrew Brandt before they negotiate another deal.

Cuz this worked out so well for Randy Moss when he tried this route...

Javon once again shows he isn't very bright.

How is it that Javon isnt bright? That is a lot of coin for him to get, considering his injury history. Seems pretty smart to me.

And it's likely to be the last. Had he took less money and gone to a contender, his stock would rise.

Now, he will get this last big paycheck, and that will be the end of Javon Walker.

lolzors :D with a rookie QB and a dodgy looking offense? Even if they are decent this year they are crippling themselves cap wise for the future with stupid FA moves.
