Jason Whitlock is the best sports writer on the planet right now in my opinion.

but here he is a little mislead. Favre hasn't filed for reinstatement and apparently has no intention of playing with the Packers. He wants to play for the Vikings.

But by the time we get to December, when playoff seeds are being decided, their support will be totally dictated by the NFL standings.

This is very true, regardless of who the QB is this year.
