In what probably was the most momentous game played at Lambeau Field since the Ice Bowl, the Packers throttled the 49ers in a NFC divisional playoff game on a wet, soggy turf that left many covered with mud. The Packers won going away, 35-14, on their march to the Super Bowl XXXI title.
