Think TT would ever give us this kind of hope at TE? We need a TE we can rely on and has elite-status potential. And that height. Imagine the red zone opportunities?

Funny you should pose that question, I was specifically watching him play on Saturday against OSU and liked what I saw. Thought "oh man if the Packers draft him, the HaHa and Jake jokes are going to get brutal."

If he goes pro, which it sounds as he may, I like what I have seen of him. Currently he is projected to go in rounds 3-5 which is TT's range for a TE, but who knows by draft time.

Hunter Henry from Arkansas is another good option. He's not going to run a jaw dropping 40 time, but I've seen him run behind some CBs and he's certainly much quicker than Rodgers. And he catches absolutely everything.

Most guards in the draft are faster than rodgers

O.J. Howard looked freakishly fast for a TE last night and has had plenty of experience blocking in Saban offense. Him and Henry should go at the end of 1st/2nd round, so at least there are two promising prospects at TE still.

I don't think OJ has declared for the draft yet, but after last night, can't imagine he won't. I like his size, but not sure I would use our pick at #31 (*smiles*) on him.

His stock has never been higher, so I would hope his "advisors" are in his ear to turn pro. Would hope that either Howard or Henry would be available in late 2nd round.

If he does enter, I don't think he makes it to the later part of the second. Latest I think he goes is the middle of the second. Between his performance last night and what I expect he'll put up in the combine, his stock will sky rocket.

My feeling as well......35-45 pick. Which means unless TT values him higher or does some shifting around of picks, he won't be a Packer.

I wouldn't be against TT going after Henry in the 1st. He adds value as a blocker being in a Beilema run first offense, as well as a tough matchup at TE and has hands as good as Richard Rodgers. Howard is a bigger risk, but also has a higher upside with his athleticism. I'm not sure either warrant a #1 pick, but both are versatile enough to justify one before somebody else gets them.
