I recall Ali vs. Ernie Terrell. They had it on radio and Closed Circuit.

Amazon Prime is the one streaming service that doesn't bother me if games are on. I would guaranty that the only way any of you dudes don't already have Amazon Prime is if you're not married. I think the local driver lives in our basement he's here so much!

Nope! I'm very married but we don't order much online at all. Of course we are in our 70's so that could be part of that...

I'm not really looking forward to this game. Anxiety overdrive.

Our last few performances have been abysmal and injuries piled on top of that. But then this is Da Bears and them collapsing worse than us is always on the cards.

Either way, not really how I thought this season would go.

Payback for 2014!!!

well.. I guess we better concentrate on Chicago first:tdown:
I don't believe that anyone on this team or coaching staff was around in 2014. It's as foreign to them as the Ice Bowl. If the current players need motivation for this game, they can draw on the loss in Chicago two weeks ago. Quite frankly, if they can't summon the motivation to win in the playoffs then they will never be champions.

Oh I know @El Guapo were just having fun.

I kinda like seeing we’re an underdog. I do not like walking around with a target on my back. This game gives us an opportunity to right a lot of wrongs imo. Maybe not the strike season of the 1980’s but you get the drift.

I also suspect that while Chicago fans will be raucous, there will be a higher % of Packer fans and thousands more Packer supporters than we saw or heard the last meeting.

These are the types of games that football should be imo.

Look at the bright side. If they win, they go to Seattle.
Better in Seattle than our house of horrors that is playing against San Fran.

Although it would be hilarious if by some divine intervention we reach NFCCG against the 49ers, we beat them at their house so they dont play the SB at their house.

My wife has it, and I actually use my own account for business purchases. And to buy stuff for her. Can't buy the wife a surprise gift if she can see every purchase made. The inside TV is on her account, and the one on the deck is on mine.

Uggg....while the temps won't be that bad Saturday, they are predicting it to be very windy (30+ mph gusts), with a mix of snow and rain. I definitely think that will help the Bears, more than it will help the Packers. I see the Bears offensive game plan as one much like the Ravens used. I see them running both Swift and Monangai right at us and roll Williams out for short passes or QB runs.

Are you saying that the Packers can't run the ball as good as or better with Josh Jacobs? ;)

I trust Jordan Love to throw the ball in those conditions, but am not sure that our WR corps will catch those balls. So I agree that it will likely be a traditional ground and pound game.

IMO - LaFleur needs to come out throwing the ball to stomp on the Bears and get them away from running the ball. If that fails in the 1st quarter, then I would switch to pounding Jacobs and Wilson down their throats for three quarters.

The Bears have a better OL and a better pair of RB's. They also were the 3rd best in the NFL on yards rushed/game, with 144.5/game. The Packers were 15th, averaging 119.8/game.

Probably a more important stat is average yds/carry. Again, the Bears were much better than the Packers in this stat. Bears averaged 4.9 yds/carry, which was 3rd best. The Packers 4.1 yds/carry, 25th best.

If that's the case; I actually don't see a benefit to giving them a long field. It'll just tire us out. We should probably go for it anywhere near the 50.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. This patch work D HAS to stop the run or its all over. They dont acquire Parsons and this team is below .500.

Maybe Whelan can put some extra air into his punts and get them up into that wet wind. We can hope for a Bear fumble.

I'd like to see us keep our cool in two ways. 1. No off sides from either side of the ball and 2. No stupid unsportsmanlike penalty calls. Intense but keep cool. It's called being focused.

I had an Amazon account to buy books about a decade or so back. I had the wife share her Prime with me last summer after I found my PW and reactivated the account. I order separate from her so she doesn't get notified. (I just use her card she has on the account.)
