Cześć everyone!
Last night, Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby joined us here at the Kielbasa Kings Sports Extravaganza to talk about his offseason, overcoming his 2012 struggles, and how he prepares kicking at Lambeau Field compared to other stadiums. Really great listen! Hopefully you guys check it out once the discussion about Jennings to the Vikings simmers down.
Make sure you vote for his song “Keep Your Eyes Open” by NEEDTOBREATH, at
www.MarchMusicMadness.com
for a chance for Make-a-Wish Foundation (Mason's charity of choice) to win $5,000 from Gold's Gym & Men's Health!!!

Here are the all-time FG % leaders, with kickers active in 2012 in bold face:

It is evident this is the golden age of place kicking. Crosby is 4th. from the bottom among active kickers.

The fellas from MIT can massage the data all they want. Crosby's performance does not pass the smell test. Even before his very poor 2012 season, he was an 80% kicker.

He hit his last 6 field goals (including playoffs) - I think he's definitely turned the corner, but we'll see what they do. He was a pretty gracious interviewee - with the time allotted, we asked him straight up about everything.

and that makes up for how many misses? and how many easy misses? and how many points he cost us?

Never said it did, my fellow Cheesehead, but you can only hope he's turned the corner. Two of his 6 straight FGs made at the end of last season (including playoffs) were from 48 and 51 yards, and he made the "easy" ones from 20 and 31 yards against Minnesota and SF, respectively, in the playoffs as well.

Packers fans can be skeptical by all means, but just saying we hope he continues what he started at the end of last season, into the forthcoming one.
