notice a trend?

@ Denver 104 yards rushing

@ KC 55 yards

Minnesota 119 yards

Carolina 88 yards

@ Detroit 101 yards

@ Dallas 94 yards

Oakland 156 yards

@ St Louis 55 yards

~~~~~~~
Gets 100 or more, then next week under 100, then 100 or more, then less, then more, then less..
WTH??
he has to average 100 yards a week over the next two to reach 1000. it's an arbitrary number, but i'd like to see him get it. regardless, thank god for ryan grant!
whatever hes doing.... its working. 12-2 is the only number that matters.
The nice thing is when the O has an off day, the D picks up. The D won the game for us yesterday. 2 INTs by Spider Monkey, 2 sacks and 13 tackles by Barnett. Looked great!
Favre was mediocre and Grant didn't really have good runs. I'd put more the blame on our OL. I didn't see too many holes yesterday. Pass blocking was superb but run blocking sucked.
I agree that the O-line didn't have its best game out there.
But to be fair, I believe it was McCarthy that said the Rams were blitzing way more than the Packers anticipated they would (and way more than they had done all season).
Given that, I think the O-line couln't really open a hole lot of running lanes.
Brett said in his post game comments that the Rams D was the HARDEST EVER to prepare for...
And I got the impression he meant EVER as in all of his years of playing
For stepping in when he did I think 1,000 yards along with a 4.0 + avg is great for him and the team.
maybe MM will sit him later in the game...continuing the trend
(Hopefully not...he's like my only regular starter on my FFB team and its the money game.)
The Lions weakness is stopping the pass. I have a feeling MM will be throwing 70/30 or even more against the Lions. MM gameplans opponents' weaknesses. Of course, if the weather is exceptionally bad, then we'll see more running.
We'll also probably see a lot more of Brandon Jackson and Morency.
VS the lions 57 yards
So...if all stays true
the playoff game should be over 100 yards
Ya it was poor poor playcalling by the packers and we had no running game. I rather not talk about the Giants game anymore because it was ours to win and we played awful and still kept it close.
That is pretty crazy... I never noticed that before. I wonder if it's MM overcompensating and looking for a more balanced offense?
Hell... let the kid get his 25 touches. In the games he rushed over 100 yards, he was getting at least one rush over 24 yards and in 4 out of the 6 100+ yard games, he got 22 or more carries.
No one benefits by going 80% through the air in -4 degree weather.
