I heard a great idea from a guy on talk radio the other day: Instead of having the Pro Bowl, the NFL should have a big post-season awards show where they hand out all the individual awards and show highlights of the season and so forth. A lot more people would watch that than the Pro Bowl, and all the players would attend--even those who were injured. They could just get their pictures taken instead of having to play in a meaningless game.

It's the best idea I've heard in a long time.

well the pro challenges would be fun, they should do more stuff like that (the college allstar challenge was entertaining), its entertaining and less chance of injury. combine that with an award show, could be neat. beats watching pro bowl players play at half speed, unless they see they can tackle a punter(big man).
