Well that's what most people do. However, the problem with that is that would make the Chiefs and the Jets winners of the NFL Championship when they were not members of the NFL. It would be like the Saskatchewan Rough Riders winning the Super Bowl and being declared the the NFL Champions. It's a slippery slope for those four years. For example, the Packer website lists both games. The Jets won a AFL-NFL championship but not a NFL Championship. Technically, the first 4 game that were later called the Super Bowl were between two different leagues who only had one thing in common, the draft. They had separate rules, AFL had the 2 point conversion, years before the NFL adopted it. They had separate commissioners, separate TV contracts, revenue sharing, you name it. So, most don't count the last 4 NFL Championships. Just he AFL-NFL Championship. Which was officially renamed after the merger. Done properly, the Packers should be listed as having 15 championships. But that's to messy for the NFL and most NFL fans. (Packer fans are happy giving up those two just to make sure that the Vikings don't have one.:))
