What have Patrick Willis & Navorro Bowman done at ILB for the 49ers defense?
Ray Lewis & Daniel Ellerbe for the Ravens?

We need a guy like this instead of AJ Hawk.
He should be there at #26... take him. Mocks have him going later, so what.

Mark it down, round one, pick #26:

Green Bay Packers: Arthur Brown, ILB, Kansas State

According to draft insider Tony Pauline, Kansas State LB Arthur Brown "blew up" his pro day workout.

We already blurbed that Brown weighed in at 236 pounds and recorded 21 bench press reps, a notable number since some of have speculated he is dealing with a shoulder injury. Brown's forty time ranged from 4.58 to 4.62 seconds and during the workout he "was sensational, showing a quick change of direction and losing no momentum altering his angle of attack," Pauline writes. "He was fast in every direction and really solid in ball drills." We consider him a top 10 talent, although he might be selected much later.

One problem. Brown projects to Bishop's side not AJ's. Who's body do you sacrifice on that strong side?

Depends on how many games you think he'll miss to make his court appearances. So no. ILB is crowded, and Jones is the crowned successor. Face reality and give that one up.

    Brad Jones, ILB/OLB, Colorado

We paid him, so we'll play him. I'd strike ILB off the high pick list.

If he is the next Ray Lewis, it would not matter if we have a dozen good players at that position. You never pass up a HOF caliber player, no matter where you draft.

Now, if he truly is that good, I'm thinking he doesn't make it out of the top 10.

Ray Lewis went in the mid 20's.
    Hawk was #5 overall though.
