Not on the score but these two things

1. Will this be the coldest game in nfl history?

2. Who, if anyone will go sleeveless Sunday?

What is the coldest game?

Conflicting reports

Ice bowl? Bengals vs Chargers?

Is it game time temp? Or end of game temp?

http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/01/green-bay-packers-forecast-coldest-playoff-game-san-francisco-49ers/

sources differ on the list of coldest games in NFL history. ESPN Stats & Info ranks them this way:

-13 (12/31/1967) — Dallas at Green Bay (NFC championship)

-9 (1/10/1982) — Miami at Cincinnati (AFC divisional playoff)

-1 (1/20/2008) — New York Giants at Green Bay (NFC championship)

ok, it wont beat the ice bowl temp of -13

I say it will be -11 at some point

All the packers offensive lineman go shirt less

Kapernick does as well and his tatts freeze off his arms

Personally, I have more respect for the player who wear some type of undergarments, long-sleeve stuff like UnderArmor or whatever, than go tough-guy and sleeveless.

Ryan Pickett said he has learned.
Hopefully the tough guy Niners all go sleeveless and freeze their ***** off and shiver.

Lacy already said he's going sleeveless just for the fact that he's used to securing the ball with no sleeves and wants to take no chances of it slipping on a sleeve.

The Cali born kid vs the Wisc born kid... Playing for the opposite franchises. Funny how that is.

I don't know if it will be colder than the Ice Bowl, but it will be close. I believe it will be colder than the NFC Championship against the Giants a few years ago. Jordy will probably go sleeveless.

Are we counting windchill in this too? Either way I think it could reach -17 if the weather keeps degrading the way it has.

I fail to see how going sleeveless makes you more of a man. They wore sleeves during the Ice Bowl.

Sadly I think that Justin Smith will go sleeveless, which I think is ridiculous.

Chris Havel was talking about this yesterday. The NFL goes by "air temperature" in their records. So, the Ice Bowl is recognized as the coldest NFL game. I really don't recall 'wind chill' or "feels like" being a weather term until the mid-to-late 80's ... could be wrong ... but the supposed wind chill temp of the Ice Bowl was changed a few years back when whomever decided to, changed the calculation of the "feels like" temps.

Also said that the NFL 'record' if you will, is measured by temp at kickoff.

So...no, I think that the Ice Bowl record sticks (haha... um... 'sticks' is figurative).

...and... there will some morons who go sleeveless, it's a toss-up as to which rocket scientist out there does, but I think that Lacy will change his mind as soon as he finds out that he won't be able to feel the ball against his arm anyway.

Don't forget Kaep played college ball in Nevada and moved when he was younger, so there's really not any Wisconsin in him anymore. Practically a Cali kid now. He'll hate it this weather.
