U don't have to type the first part if u don't want but I thought this might be a fun word game. U can also post several in a row. No need to wait for someone else to post before u can again.

Yes it was! I kept it on DVR and watch it occasionally. Call on last play of the game > "Fake 23 Blast.....with a Backside George Reverse like your life depended upon it!" Denzel just doesn't make a bad movie. As far as movies relating to high school sports, "Remember the Titans" and "Hoosiers" are undoubtably my favorites. I also liked "Radio."

I love the part where Lastik shows up.
And I used to love that movie. Even to the point where I bought it.
But then I hated it when I read how much of it was fictionalized.
I don't like it when historical things are turned to so much fiction just to manipulate our emotions or to push some kind of agenda that wasn't needed.

I don't mean to brag but I drank a bit too much sauce and broke my dvd copy of Remember the Titans and threw it away to Forget the Titans!

Yeah, I would be a fool to think any attempts to manufacture a movie with a purpose to duplicate "real" life experiences and events would not be overly-laced with sensationalism and untruth. It can be quite disappointing when you watch a movie then later learn that much of what was being presented was not the actual facts. I had already knew this information about "Remember the Titans" as I researched the story behind the making of the movie. A lot, and maybe too much imagination goes into play, obviously, in the fictionalizing process with making a movie from a true story, but they have to put keesters in the seats and make big $$$ which is all that matters to the film makers. That said, despite much of the fiction applied, it didn't change my feelings about this film whatsoever because I still enjoy watching it. It's just an enjoyable "feel good" movie to me. Some great acting, too; well, by some of the cast.
