In the only two games of the season they gave up 30+ points we came away with losses. In the last 5 games of the season they averaged only giving up 14 points. That is the momentum you want to see going into January. The defense is the reason this team has a first round bye. They have been opportunistic, but have missed big plays. That being said, they have been resilient. The patriots defense, whom was grossly overrated all season, could not take care of business at home against the dolphins. The Packers defense only gave up 3 points in the second half on the road on a short week.</p></blockquote><p></p>
