i will watch in a drunken state.

and NFL Network.

And what state is that? oh I see, Illinois.

I will be on my couch, with friends, watching on my 5ft X 8ft HD screen, surround sound, and a kegerator two steps form the couch.

Can life get better? I think not. (well, with a Packer win of course!)

I'm back in San Francisco so I'm trying to find a decent bar to go to. Anyone have any suggestions if you've been here or are from here?

I am jealous!! I used to live there and loved it.

You want to go:

Zeke's Diamond Bar
409 Brannan
San Francisco, CA
(415) 543-4855

Owner is from WI. about 75 packer fans will show up every week so get there early. It is not far from PacBell (or whatever it is named now)

Great place. The owner is named Tim. Tell him Tripp said hello!

..My wife is having minor surgery early in the day.........I have to get her home in time for kickoff!

Cheesey, please give your wife my very best....

Any woman that can put up with you for (about) a quarter of a century should be elevated to sainthood.
I shall email the Pope directly.

As to watching the game, I shall be at home and for the first time in my life cheering for the Cowboys! :p
LOL! True..............how true! She just keeps telling me "Your NOT funny"..........(she doesn't appreciate my humor! )

To all that have wished my wife well on this..........a sincere thank you! Today she has been busy trying to deal with insurance issues (great the way they wait till the day BEFORE it's scheduled, just to add some more stress to it)Grrrrrrrrr!!!!
Anyway.....again......THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!! :D

I don't even have cable.

My friend who does signed up for NFL network for one month. He said he is calling them immediately after the game to cancel. I'm watching it at his house.

Otherwise I'd be going to my favorite Packers bar, which will be completely packed well before kickoff.

Man..........insurance companies suck!
They are trying to say what my wife needs is "cosmetic" and not necessary. Even though the doctor says it's necessary and she could lose her leg if they don't do this.
Anyone out there that believes in prayer........PLEASE do so for this matter.
She needs to get this done, and the stress of being ****** around is NOT helping.
THANK YOU in advance!!!

Cheesey if the Dr doesn't get you the results you need give me a PM and we can talk a bit. I am an agent in IL (mainly personal lines but I do write some health as well.) Perhaps I can give you a couple of things to try.

I'll be watching it via Direct TV. I have a love-hate relationship with them and I've almost cancelled my NFL package for the last three years, but I still have it.

I am not sure of this, but there may be some hope to see this game after all. Maybe you might want to check this out. I got this in an email from a relative.

is that free?

and if not, I've heard a few people mention channelsurfing.com. But isnt that only for fox broadcasts?

I am quite sure it is. You might want to register on nfl.com. Should be free. sounds sweet worth a try.

I'll be watching alone with my Scotch. I personally like watching games alone so I can concentrate on the game instead of entertaining guests.

If they are winning I'll be drinking The Maccallan, if they are losing I'll stick to the Johnnie Walker Red Label or Teacher's Highland Cream. :) If they are winning at half time I'll have a nice cigar and I can honestly say life doesn't get much better than that my friends.

Go Pack Go

How about a Macallan and cigar after the game to celebrate??

If they win, I will indeed! LOL

So far, it seems all systems are go. She will have to go in extra early to the hospital, to take care of the things that SHOULD have been taken care of by our regular MD. But the specialist said he would handle it. So hopefully it all will come together. The specialist is retiring after he takes care of my wife, and he said he has never seen the hassle she is getting.
I will give an update tomorrow sometime, when it's all over.
Thanks again!!!!
