Well, the Queens had tied it up 14 to 14 and the Packers get the ball, desperately in need of cooling that team down and giving our defense a well deserved and much needed rest. What series of playcalls shall Mike Sherman, "offensive genius" select?

1st Down - Up the gut of the defense that has absolutely shut down our run game with 3rd string utility back Tony Fisher. Minimal gain of 2 yards.

2nd Down - Hey, it worked so good on first down, let's do it again (just like when Ray got his balls whacked in "The Longest Yard")!! Modest gain of 3 yards.

3rd Down - We need 5, let's throw to DD for 3 when the defense has been swarming all night long on this type of play.

4th Down - Punt

Favre should have been much more mobile (by design!) last night to avoid the huge rush up the middle and to allow for a little more creativity in his options....you know, something he has thrived on his entire career....just like the 2 minute offense he is only allowed to run when MS "offensive genius" realized he has let the game get away from him and it is too late.

Unfortunately the Packer offense has been quite predictable for some time. Any average fan with any knowledge can predict the next play nearly half the time; opposing d-coordinators must be able to do much better than that. Teams with exceptional talent (Lombardi's Packers and the power sweep) can get away with it, but this bunch just can't execute with any precision or authority.
