Right now I think it has to rank 3rd - behind only the NFC Championship loss of 2007 and the Super Bowl XXXII loss. It may not have been a close game, but considering how it appeared that this team was just destined to win it all, and they came up well short, it's just horrible. All that dynasty talk, all those thoughts of being forever remembered as a back-to-back champion - out the window right off the bat. I'm going to have to start hating the Giants - a team I've always supported at least in the NFC East (cause I hate Dallas and Philly so much). They are the new 90s Cowboys and early 00s Eagles to us. The team we can never beat when it matters. I truly believe we had this Super Bowl championship in the bag if we could have won this game. At the very least, we would have beaten the 49ers and taken the Patriots to the wire. Now, all that is gone. Just a truly devastating loss that may haunt us for years (even if the Packers bounce back to win next year's Super Bowl, because then it could have been a true dynasty).</blockquote>
