Todd Franz is back on the roster for his 6th time since 2002.
The Packers also signed the Steelers 2nd 7th round pick Noah Herron who was on their practice squad and Thornburg with his special teams play is on IR.
Herron was not likely to play soon behind Bettis, Parker, and Staley. Good for him he will be paid more. He will likely get Lee cut soon enough.
Steeler fans say he is okay on special teams but indecisive hitting the hole.
Indecisive is usual for rookies.
Again Ted Thompson is bringing guys in who do not cost any money. The lower portion of the roster gets tossed around to seperate the grain from the chaff.
