    Packerforum name: Heatherthepackgirl
    Real name (first only): Heather
Age (optional): 47 but still young at heart.
    Current City: Fontana, CA
    Hometown: Belgium, WI
    Occupation: Self Storage Property Manager

    1) How did you choose your screen name?

Well my name is Heather, I love the Pack, and as far as I know I am a girl. LOL

    2) Could you tell us a little about where you grew up and about your family?

I grew up in a small town in Belgium Wisconsin, its about an hour north of Milwaukee, what I remember about this town is the friendliness of all the people who lived there. My parents still live in the house that I grew up in, so when I go back there to visit its very hard for me to leave. A year ago my Mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and thats been very difficult for me living so far away, she keeps getting worse and I am realizing how strong/patient my Dad is. My Dad is such a caring/giving man, he would give his shirt off his back to someone in need. My Dad has also become a baker and a cook which he never had to be before. I am proud to be their child. I also have one older brother and one older sister, they also live in WI. As a family we have always remained close. I miss them all dearly.

    3) Did you play in any sports or where you involved with any High School clubs and such?

I played basketball, and being as tall as I was I was center, I enjoyed it very much. I also was involved in Cheerleading and was a Pom Pom girl. My Senior year in High School it was an honor to be named Homecoming Queen.

    4) What is your fondest memory of your teenage years?

Driving an old four door car I believe it was a 1968 Ford something, I would pick up my friends who didn't have a car and we would drive around and just have fun. I wished I had that car now!! I never missed a High School dance those were great fun.

    5) What was your first job?

Actually my first job was when I was 12 years old, I did alot of babysitting for $1.00 an hour, my weekends were always booked way in advance. But it was great money for a child at that time. After many years of babysitting I thought it would give me the experience that I needed when I would have a child of my own NOT, nothing compares to having a child of your own and you worry a lot more. At 16 I got a job working as a dishwasher at Squires Country Club in Port Washington WI, my boss would come in drunk and fire us all, at first I was scared to death of him, but after learning from my co workers that this man does this all time I just got used to it. From there I got my first server job at Smith Brothers Restaurant in Port Washington WI, I worked there for over 12 years up til I had my first child, then took five years off to be a full time Mom, which I haven't regretted doing today. Makes a difference in childrens lives to have one parent home with them at all times.

    6) What lead to your dedicated following of the Packers?

I must say I have always loved Football, but it was Brett Favre that really got me interested in watching the Packers play. He was exciting to watch, and you knew if he was behind that ball he was going to make something happen. Also my whole family watched the packers on TV, believe it or not I had never been to Green Bay while living in WI for 36 years, it took me moving to California and planning trips back to see my family and while doing that planning a day at Green Bay to watch the Packers play. Now everytime we go to WI to visit we have to plan a day to be in Green Bay. I love that town and its small town values.

    7) Could you tell us one of your favorite memories of the Packers?

That memory would have to be the Oakland game, watching how magical Brett Favre was on the field knowing that his father had just passed away, it was a very emotional game for me and for everyone watching. It was also great to see how the Oakland fans rallied around Favre. Its a memory I will never forget.

8 ) How did you find the Packerforum and what keeps you active on the site?

I don't really remember how I found this site, all I know is I am truly great full that I did, I have learned so much from each and everyone of you its truly been a blessing. Thanks Ryan for all that you do.

    9) What other sports teams do you follow? Y

es I do, I follow the Steelers as well. I always hope they do well to, but not as good as the Packers. :)

    10) When you’re not on Packerforum what could you likely be found doing with your spare time?

I love to sing Karaoke, and unfortunately in my spare time I do lots of cleaning it never ends. I also love to go to Malibu, Palm Springs, Beverly Hills and Hollywood. We also go to casinos every once in a while we have been lucky the last three times we have went. You just have to be smart with you money and set a limit. I am usually up to doing pretty much anything.

    11) If you could have one moment being part of the Packer organization, what would it be?

I would have to say this past season, it was so much fun watching the Packers kick butt, and watching Favre with a smile on his face it was so well worth it. This team came out of no where being the youngest team in the NFL. I had a blast.

    12) How many trips have you made to Lambeau?

Three times and each time its more amazing then the last.

    13) What is your worst fear?

Death, you just never know if you will wake up tomorrow, this is why we cannot take things for granted and enjoy every moment we have on this earth. Don't sweat the small stuff.

    14) What type of hobbies do you enjoy?

Playing with my dogs, they are the joy of my life. Also we have collected shot glasses from every state we have been to, which is a lot. And the funny thing is we don't even drink that much..LOL..

    15) What’s your favorite food?

    Steak and Seafood.

    16) Where are some of the places you’ve been, and where are some of your favorites?

We have taken a few road trips back to Wisconsin so we have been through many states along the way. The best place to always visit is the state of Wisconsin because of my family, it is still home and a great place to be. When traveling through California I would have to say my favorite place to be would be Palm Springs, its such a relaxing laid back place, just a nice place to relax and get away from it all.

    17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet in your lifetime?

That would be vacationing in Hawaii, other then that I lead a pretty happy life just where ever I am. I am always happiest surrounded by family and friends I dont have to go someplace special for this.

    18) If you could live anywhere where would it be?

You guys will probably get sick of me saying this, but if I could live anywhere it would be in Wisconsin near my family. Family is everything.

    19) Name your favorite 5 Packers all time and explain the reason.

1). Brett Favre: Hes just such a unique QB and he will go down in history as one of the very best. He will be missed.

2). Reggie White: He was such a spiritual leader and an amazing sacker.

3). Donald Driver: I have met Donald Driver a few times and he's the kindest man. Every time he steps out on the field he gives 100%. He has never been in the spot light hes like me and flies under the radar. :)

4). Nick Barnett: Because he is a great player and also from Fontana, CA.

5). Antonio Freeman: I still remember Favres chemistry with this man, it was so amazing.

    20) Up to this date, what is one of your favorite Packerforum memories?

When Tromadz was running for Mod, VOTE TROMADZ!!!

    21) Anything else you’d like to say?

I am just proud to be part of this site and everyone that makes me smile/laugh when I am having a rough day. Thanks so much everyone!! And to Zombieslayer, hope I didnt bore you to much. :)

    22) Who do you nominate to be the next PF Interview?

Since I cant nominate Zombie again, I will nominate my friend Cheesy, he has been there through a lot with me, and for that I am so thankful for his friendship.

I'm laughing more at the "rutroh"! Not worried about Bob although Heather has indicated she'd live in Montana if Wisconsin wasn't doable. Hmmm???

Anyhow, one thing she didn't mention was that we met nigh these many years now on AOL - and "rutroh" was bandied about all over the chatrooms at the time. Gave me a chuckle seeing it here.

Now you all know how good I've really got it huh?

    Argh!

I just had that image in my head.

Heather - hope none of the kids you babysat were like Calvin (from Calvin & Hobbes).

Yeah, Freeman was fun to watch. he and Favre just had a great chemistry. I think as a WR, he was good, not great, but good, but their chemistry was excellent and that's why they have 57 TDs together. I was really hoping in that last year they were together, the magic would come back, but no, no TD passes to Freeman that year. :(

Reggie White's time on the Packers just seemed too brief, as did Sterling Sharpe's. He was really fun to watch.

And seafood - love seafood. :) Almost as much as steak.

'Twas a nice read. Glad you didn't mind doing it.

Heather, you are a lovely women. Youe compassion for others, love of your family, and loyalty to the green and gold makes you very, very special. I hope that should I ever make the mistake again and fall in love, it is someone of your qualities. I would feel as lucky as Edder.

By the way, you are here because of Cheesy and I getting booted at a certian famous players (who's number to be retired) website. Face it, you found us, stalked us, followed us, and caught us...... thanks!

When I go through some rough patches, I just call my Dad and he always makes me feel better. I dont know what I would do if something ever happened to my family, they have been there right with me along the way, and I wouldnt have become the person that I am today without them. :)

Some of the kids I babysat gave me a run for my money, shall I say very active? LOL

I thought that samething Zombie, when Freeman came back I was wondering if they still would have that chemistry, but Freeman didnt play to much, I was still excited in seeing him back on the team.

Nope, didnt at all mind doing the interview, it bought back so many great memories for me. Thanks again for the nomination!!

Where in CA do you live?

That was so nice of you to say Tripp!! Its never a mistake if you fall in love with the right person but how do you know it at the time, I guess we all take chances at love and hope for the best. But the sad part is there is no guarantee in anything. But your a great man Tripp and I am sure anyone would be proud to have you.

YEP I do remember how I got to this site now!! LOL. Sorry about the stalking guys. LOL But think about it, things happen for a reason, and that other site dont compare to this one. The people here are amazing. And if you didnt remember I got the boot to because I took a stand for my friends. But it was the greatest BOOT ever!! LOL
