My son just informed me Hank Aaron has passed at age 86. Another legend of my youth.

My sister has his rookie card. She was helping a neighbor clean up his house as he was being moved into a nursing home. She found this stack of cards and told him give to his kids . He said they aren’t helping me , you are. So you keep it . She told him it was a rare card and expensive . Again he said it’s yours

I saw him play at county stadium few times as a kid when he came back
