Ha funny you said that, I was thinking the same.

I only started this thread because I just ordered my guitar yesterday from Takamine, a new G series acoustic electric and am dying for it to get here so I can get started on learning this seemingly great instrument!

Hope you enjoy it. I have been playing acoustice for a long time. It is my way of relaxing, and just enjoying music. I don't know much about the Takamine.
My prize possession is my Martin 12 string that my parents gave me as a college graduation present way back (let' just say I'm chronologically challenged).
Guitar is good for the soul.

Thats the problem with the world today!!! Too much "sax and violins!" LOLOL!!!

Anyway......my brother was a great guitar player. He had a couple bands back in the 1960's. He was great on the 12 string too. I could never play though. I love to sing, but could never learn the guitar.

I play guitar and have for quite a few years. I play mostly my accoustic but mess around a little with the electric. I like to play almost anything but mostly country and a little rock 'n roll. I can play a pretty nice 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynyrd Skynyrd though.

    Hey..Cheesey...

I am an Esteban lover from waaayy back..

I peaked with him on some yellow sunshine that he gave to me when he performed at Woodstock, and blew the whole crowd away. Very hip cat. We had some crazy *** times. Whoo..giving me flashbacks just thinking about it. Steady now!

He was by far the best performer, but no one knows because of contractual reasons he couldn't be in the movie or on the soundtrack.

Hell...how do you think Hendrix learned how to play?

    Esteban..man..Esteban...

(Ryan, PM me anytime if you have any questions. Be happy to answer them...)
