Long time no see guys. I just happened to be bored out of my mind and thought I would check in on my old home. Surprisingly I see the most insane, stupid, ignorant, completely irrational post ever and thought I could lend a little truth to the obviously challenged person who posted this.
First off when comparing 2 guys you go on statistics for a career. Judging by 1 year would be ridiculed by anyone of any intelligence. So lets look at the last 4 years.
Rex
2003 Chicago Bears 3 3 72 38 52.8 437 6.07 59 2 1 4/41 7 1 74.8
2004 Chicago Bears 3 3 84 47 56.0 607 7.23 40 1 3 5/22 8 1 67.9
2005 Chicago Bears 2 1 39 20 51.3 259 6.64 54 1 2 1/9 4 1 59.7
2006 Chicago Bears 16 16 480 262 54.6 3193 6.65 62 23 20 21/142 47 8 73.9
Brett

Statistically speaking Brett has outmatched Rex for 3 out of 4 years. So if judging by stats alone the obvious better QB has been Brett Favre. Now, lets not forget that Brett has outdone Rex while on the downside of his career while Rex is into his prime. Brett in his prime SHATTTERED every stat you see above in Rex's statline. Lets sum this up
Brett in his Prime Vs Rex in his Prime - Not Even Close --- Brett
Brett in his career Vs. Rex in his Career - Not Even Close ---- Brett
Brett the last 4 years Vs. Rex in his last 4 --- Again ---- Brett
Brett in 2003 Vs. 2003 Rex --- Broken Record --- Brett
Brett in 2004 Vs. 2004 Rex ----- Again --- Brett
Brett in 2005 Vs. Rex in 2005 ---- zzzzzz --- Brett
Brett in 2006 Vs. Rex in 2006 ---- FINALLY --- Rex
So it looks to me that Brett blows old Rexxy out of the water.......but then again, you didn't need me to tell you that did you?
Now Lets see who else is better than Brett and Rex both basedon your logic

Maurice Jones-Drew avereged 5.7 yards a carry. This must mean he is better than LT, LJ, Alexander, Parker, Jackson, Barber, etc......Get real

I must say Kampman is obviously better than Freeny and Peppers by a mile.
I could go on and on with absurdities but even a Bear fan should be able to grasp this.
Bottom Line.......Rex Grossman is mediocre. Packers fans know it, Bears fans know it, the whole world knows it. Rex is nothing but a liability. They are not in a Super Bowl because of Rex. If that is the case Trent Dilfer was a great QB as well.
Grossman is a disaster, has a ******, and will never be spoken with in the same breath with Brett. Comparing the careers is like comparing Rosie O'Donnell with Anna Kournikova.
One is an iron man who is definitely a first ballot HOF and will hold nearly every record imaginable when he retires and is beloved by his fans.
The other is a schizophrenic piece of fine China who admittedly takes games off and is often booed by his own fans and will be joining Cade McNown soon enough flipping burgers at the local fast food joint.
We saw who the better QB was on Dec. 31st when they went head to head. Well, until they yanked your ol' boy out of the game at least.
We know you want him gone and I would to considering over the course of his career he has beat the Bears like rented mules time after time.
Now begin the ...... over the last 2 years ........ or ....... when the Bears wore black socks on a day below 65 degrees with a windchill below 60 during a day when the president was visiting an african country and Lovie Smith was ovulating and Tank johnson was stockpiling WMD's.......blah blah blah
Your selective stats are amusing but not credit worthy. Later
