I never draft a backup for my TE  and I'm still not going to pick a TE early enough to get one of the elites but in my keeper league I may grab two of the rookies and hope one takes off right away this season.  I know its not a common occurrence but I'm guessing at least the top 5 TEs will be kept so I'll take a chance on a rookie outperforming anyone lower than that.</blockquote>
