I say a B for today. BUT If we can get some good steals tommarow, it could go up to a B+ to A-. But for today, I say B.

I haven't watched a single bit of tape on any of these guys but I sure would have loved to see them get Jackson instead of an extra 4th & 5th round choices tomorrow.

I like it. I would have preferred to see Vernon Davis taken at the #5 spot, but we got an awesome LB in Hawk so I can't complain there.

I liked the trades, we got lots of extra picks that way. I think we all expected TT to do a lot of trading down. Oh, and good riddance Javon!

It looks like we got some good guards (I think Colledge will switch to guard) and Jennings looks really good to me too. He adds depth to the WR position and should be a good KR/PR as well. I was shocked by the Hodge pick because I thought he was taken off the board a long time before we took him. I was pleasantly surprised there. He should start at MLB so Barnett can move to OLB with Hawk.

I give it an A. Nice work TT!

TT is working on Buliding the team for the future that is why he traded for so many picks, at this point I highlyu disagree with anybody who says TT did a poor job

Barnett is consider to little for the middle linebacker poistion and he sometimes runs right by plays. He would make a better outside linebacker where he could use his speed more

Why move Barnett out of the middle, it seems like he does a pretty good job there now... :-?

His natural position is OLB. He played there up until we drafted him and moved him to MLB out of necessity. He can be even better at OLB and Hodge plays MLB anyway, so it makes sense to me.

I like the players we got but I really dislike trading first day picks for second... there were several players we passed over for more 4th and 5th picks... I really like A.J hawk he made my draft....

Now we can get round 3 caliber players in the top of the 4th and have some extra picks as well.

I'm happy with the draft overall, but my feeling is that we should have gotten a little more value out of Javon Walker. Seems to me like we should have gotten a playmaker at receiver, since we were losing one, but I guess that was kind of hard with this years weak WR class. Greg Jennings I think was a good pick, but he's no Javon Walker (hopefully he doesn't have a Javon attitude either).

Also.. I thought it was pretty clear that Ted Thompson was drafting for need, rather than BPA, which I completely understand.

I gave the first draft day a B. Green Bay got two LB's. One exceptional and the second very good. Got some O-line help and a WR with very good hands.

Man, I just got off PackerNews forum and to read the stuff there you'd think the Pack picked all PeeWee Hermans. What a bunch of bellyachers. Some of them seem to know so much, they should be general manager. Only time will tell how good or bad some of the picks are, but isn't this true of every team, especially after the second round? Joe Know-it-all says we should have picked this guy; Ralphie Right-All-The-Time says this guy, and so on.

Who, outside of Southern Miss. ever heard much of a guy named Brett Favre many years ago?

And they also act like AJ Hawk big woop?

AJ Hawk was the BEST player on the D in the draft. Mario has a bad work ethic...and really what did he do at NC ST? They went 6-5...I mean they didn't lose because of him, but really he didn't win them any games.

I would go as far to say AJ was the 2nd best player in the draft behind Bush.

I'll give it an A so far. Jennings and Hawk look like something special. Because of those 2 players I think an A is fair assessment right now so those who voted A look like they weren't just optimistic but also right.
